Back in 75 my dad got into a highway crash with his 73 Sport Coupe. He had the dealer Hogan Pontiac do the body work. When we went to pick up the car we found out that they used the clip from a Grand LeMans so our car got that grille as well.
I ran into a car at Thornhill one night from North Bay, it was a Sport Coupe GTO but it too had had a crash and got a Grand LeMans front clip. The worst part was the emission decal said 350 2 bbl on the header and the lady who owned the car wished she never came. Guys were crapping all over he car saying it wasn't a GTO. I checked the VIN and sure enough it was an Oshawa built F37 with a T engine , a 400. It had 1975 NASA hood, 15" rally wheels, GTO emblems inside on the doors so combined with the 400 engine code I was satisfied it was a GTO but I was the only one.
Subject car isn't either of the ones I mention but it is definitely worth a look.

Hood is off a '75. The hood's from '73 and '74 had the vent's between the scoop's and the edge of the hood. I'm close enough to look at it but if I did I might bring it home and having three already is enough!

Also all service replacement hoods are stamped 1973 and do not have vents at cowl. Hood without vents looks so much better.
