I think the biggest problem with these car's is frame rust, I've seen more than my sure that have the rear bumper hanging off. I owned a '80 Grand Am that came from Edmonton that had rear frame rust, I bought it as a part's car. The ad for the two tone gray GP above note's in the ad on KIJIJI that it has frame rust?

ooops, I screwed up the Quote somehow........

That's true. There is aguy in Canada that make the replacement frame rails. I just moved to Tennessee and all the cars in the junk yards have perfect frames. Not so in Iowa
A guy could make a living off repairing and swaping frames on G Body cars (or A bodies to some)

Little remembered is that there were a few wagons as well among the fleet, but they were all V6 automatic cars, to my recollection.

About 10 years ago I bought a set of pedals out of a 3 speed floor shift wagon in an auto wrecking in North Dakota. I also pulled out the special manual trans-only tilt column and put it in an old school bus. I paid for the pedals and left. When I was on my way home (100 miles) I realized I'd forgotten the column and next trip back the school bus was gonedisbelief
