As I was scrolling through I couldn't believe you missed the 455 4sp GP and then Voila there it was...

Report was... The inspection unit was out on Liela in the afternoon catching cars as they left the show.

Non-Pontiac... Did you see the 68 L78 Camaro !!! Tripoli Turquoise M-22, no power options, 3.73, drum brakes.... LETS RACE !

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

Oh, belive me, I wanted to! However it became apparent very quickly in our conversation that this car is not for sale! I really like the colour combo too. It's black bucket/console interior. I never looked under but it appeared to be a nice straight solid car.

 



Well Carl, thanks for the clariffication if this car was for sale or not. I've known about this SD for 3 years now but it's never been for sale. He gave me his number last year but I never called him because I figured he would be holding on for some time.

I guess no reason not to start the resto on my 67. The past couple months I've been wondering if this SD car came up for sale I'd be miles ahaead in just selling mine and buying this one. That's not going to happen so time to move on.........

That GP showed up at our Local car show here in Transcona after the Garden CIty show. I could not stop looking at it. What a nice car, loved the colour combo. My favorite car of this show hands down.

When I left the show about 3:30 there was no cops around. Not to say they didn't show up later but I never seen them.

I had a call from someone before i left giving a heads up of police set up at Leila and Sinclair... not sure if it was an inspection unit or just a sitting car... The yellow GP that you like Carl is my cousins car...he wanted it as a driver, he has a nice 73 Camaro (tubbed) that he did in the early 80s i'm guessing, low 10 second SBC car... him and my other cousin with an all black 69SD post car...

It was a good show, a few cars had left before i got there...

Anybody know what the original engine was in that red Grand Prix ? I am sure it is nice with a 455 but as we all know 455 did not appear until 1970.

Being a J model i suspect it was a 400 but I'm hoping it was a 428. Anybody know??
