It's nice to see so many Beaumonts getting restorations that a few years ago only Chevelles got! Keep us posted on your progress.

Excellent car.  I love the 67's .    I heard that a console in good shape can  fetch $2000      -   If  that is true , then I was foolish to let mine go years ago.  I would have to be even more foolish to pay that kind of coin for one though wink

Hey paulish, i've been itching to do the body on this thing for years, just slowly started buying panels. I have some more pics I'll have to upload. Oh and I really like the colour of yours, I was thinking something very similar, black cherry'ish. Like that corvelle done on west coast choppers. What colour is yours?

The fellow doing the body work put the rotisserie together, but yes two P.A engine stands and a hub assembly, it is very well balanced, he can turn the car himself with ease. Some pieces of square tubing to extend the legs and the height of the engine hoist. I'll see what I can do about some more rotisserie pics.

Well car is now back on the frame, underside of car was sprayed with undercoating and the frame got sandblasted and loaded up with Por-15. Now the gaps are being dealt with, not much longer now. Then i'll have to find someone to block sand and paint. Today at a local swap meet i found a 396(1968 or 69?, block#3955272) longblock, with engine stand for $400!! Man i was stoked! and he threw all the brackets, pulleys 2 starters a water pump and he has a turbo400 sitting around that i can have, it just got better and better as i spoke to him. The pistons are domed pistons as well, overall a good day at the swap meet, oh yeah and two corvette rally center caps for $15. Another pic today, hood was fitted, pretty good fit.

I saw that 396 done there too. The way your talking about it and the extras make me feel I missed out on somethin good. That's a great score.  I found some good buys also. Found some gears and an intake.

Just added some pics of my 396 or should i say 434 stroker with a hydraulic roller cam and a scat forged rotating assembly! Little by little, but she's still proceeding. Was having a hard time finding someone to finish the body so onto the drivetrain we go, may as well get her running!
