That's the way you want to buy then for sure. There's alot of metal work already done and a rat under the hood.

It is the original floor, has black bedliner painted on it. Only new metal is the rear quarters. Car came out of Alberta. The underside looks as good as the metal on top. No rust at all. I'm very pleased with it. It was being turned into a drag car before i saved her. Only issue is i'm missing most of the interior pieces. Just got it home so today i'm going to go thru all my parts so if anyone has some extras please let me know. Definatley going to need some help for this one. First project that i've bought in boxes, i kinda like to take em apart, helps in assembly. Will post a wanted add soon. Nice site, thanks for the posts!
Greg.

Welcome from Winnipeg. Nice looking project. Always nice when you can start a project with good sheet metal. Thats a big savings in time and money.

Yep. Best of the best was put into this engine. A balanced Eagle forged steel rotating assy, dome pistons, aluminum heads(not sure of the brand). Cam is off the wall to, intake .653 lift, exhaust .66 lift. Stroke is now 4.375, Rods 6.385.  Should be a fun street car!

Got a set of glass front fenders. Any recommendations on if i should use them or keep the steel ones on? Both are in fair shape.

Nice solid project! Keep us posted on progress...I'm sure that motor is going to give you some go! Glass ones usually don't fit too well (I'd stick to steel)... what are plans for the car? race car? roll cage? The glass fenders are good to lighten the car up a bit, but that motor will put you into needing a cage at the track, so lighter may not benefit you. You could always prep/align the car for the steel fenders, but also paint the glass and have both...

Daily driver. LOL

Going to make it look stock until you raise the hood. Lined up the steel fenders and the fit is nice, I think i will use them.

As far as glass fenders my opinion is to go with steel, I find the glass doesent have the strenght and hard to get the body work just right, I have them on my beau and changing them for steel. But as I say that is my opinion. Going to be a great ride, especally with that mill!! :)
