Here's some pic's. Still needs to be wet sanded and polished but i completely ran outta time. I'm doing this build without my own garage. LOL

Paint color wasn't what i ordered but i was kinda hand cuffed by time as the shop was closed for the weekend. It was either spray it or put it back outside in primer.

Color has some nice metallics in it. I think it'll look really sweet after its polished. Now trying to decide if i want to strip it or vinyl top it.

Suggestions?

The car was bought in Calgary in 2005 by an army buddy of mine. He brought it to Ontario in 2008. Been in storage since 2005.

I picked up the car in Oct 2010. Yes i'm very pleased. Hoping to have it on the road in April. Building the engine now, 327  .030 over with flat top pistons. 202 heads, port and polish. Lots of parts still to pick up, front buckets, carpet, headliner, door panels, rims and tires, rad, exhaust and probably a few items i don't ever know i'm missing. MTF shortly.

For what it's worth...given you are trying to retain the "Custom" appearance, go with the black vinyl top and the proper stainless and chrome moldings. Just my opinion though. Keep us posted.

Going to start wet sanding the body tomorrow. Got the glass in today. Anyone have a spare piece of a-pillar channel. I missing the drivers side.

looking awsome! this is the part i like, every piece you put on, is one step closer to being complete, and clears up that much more room in the shop and basement lol

I haven't decided yet. Going to wait and see how the sanding goes. I may need to go with the VT.
