Don't stop now Jimmy. You have come way to far to get discouraged. Take a break if you have to but don't quit.

Hello Folks .Just wanted to make a post and thank  jmon64 (Jerel ) for giving me a contact to Dependible plating.I went there this morning with the 20 parts i went to Kelowna Plating  with ,i also added 2 more parts ,the grill turning signals for a total of 22 peices. Not only did they quote me a smoken good deal for a price .there going to do a better plating job as Kelowna Plating was only going to do a nickle and chrome plating for 3100.00.Dependible Plating is going to do a copper plating ,2 nickle platings and then the chrome plating for 2100.00 .So the bottom line is im getting two more peices chromed ,a better plating job and for 1000.00 bucks less ,thanks again Jerel ,i also got to look at there work and its preety darn good .

Hey that is good to hear.  I heard there turnaround time is way quicker than Kelowna too so I am hoping your result is as good as the price.

Its sure looking good.  Just so you know those centre cap shown are just the centre emblem and have to be used on this style cap and will not fit you sombrero style centre caps.

And this what it would look like on the car.

rabbit64cs ,the louvers are the same design the only differance is the 2+2 ones are a 1/8 of an inch shorter ,so they can work ,only a hand full of guys would know the differance and would need a tape measurer with them ,lol.cheers Jimmy

There being repoped and sold at many restoration stores for all kinds of different prices. Goodmark sells them for around $22 ea. I have seen complete sets on Ebay. Like the one on this link. although the wrong centre orniment cap. You could use until you get the correct ones from Dales.

Hello folks and friends .so did a little more on the car ,i sprayed the inside floor with PRO-FORM rhino liner,it turned out pretty good but im not completly happy with the texture.  Im going to cover it with PRO-FORM sound barrier next ,1/16 th inch rubber bria that you glue on with a heat gun to give it a real nice clean finish that will also prevent road sound and heat from comming in through the floor .I also wanted your opinion on the truck ,should i paint inside the trunk the body color or use a grey spakel trunk paint.

I vote body colour in the trunk just because that is how Acadians are and it keeps your Acadian unique.
