Hello people, Thought I would kick start some hearts out there..... is that a 70' Chevelle ....well yes it is and there's plenty more. There's more " MUSCLE " in that yard than you can shake a stick at. This yard is just south of me a half hour, it takes all afternoon just see everything. When I get depressed I take a trip down yonder....ooooohhhhh.....just to see all that rusty steel ....sitting...waiting for some lonely soul to take them home. You guys ever watch that chick flick " A WALK TO REMEMBER " well this is a car lovers walk to remember. Is that a tear I see, ya big suck...

Yep, the crusher is making it's rounds but this particular vintage wrecker is off limits. I know of a few places around the country that have old cars stashed away. Has anyone checked out the cars over at Chase,BC ,fella there had all kinds of goodies. I posted photo's of a 1940 Pontiac sedan and had one response. I put an add on kijiji saying I had a Monarch and a Galaxy for parts ( free ) and my phone was ringing off the wall , everyone that called had a crusher.

Found this car today,think it's around a 1940. Car appears to be in pretty good shape. Pontiac Arrow 4 dr sedan, current resting place is just down the road. If anybody is interested I could look into it a bit further.

I thought that fruit stand looked familiar, we used to live in Silver Creek 23yrs ago. You don't know Kelvin Willness do you ,he's my wife's cousin I used to build houses with him all over that area. Well lets get down to business here. You know the fruit stand on the west side of Chase just as you leave town, there is switch back road right there that heads south. I can't remember how far you go but it's a ways, watch on the west or, right side you should see the fellas house and a pile of old cars.
Have you ever checked out the car museum at Sorrento ,they used to have a lot of stuff for sale. Used to live in the trailer park in Silver Creek, the guy across the road had a acreage full of old iron check that out or even up at Yankee Flats might be something up there.

I did a similar walk around Rustic Auto just south of Plattsburg, Ny earlier this year. 26 acres of rusting history. I didn't know whether to smile that someone still had them or weep for what they've become.

hey Crazy, my Timber Frame business is located in the SA industrial park.  I have only been here for about 5 years now, still live in Oyama and am wearing out my PONTIAC Grand Prix.  2 hours drive everyday.  I know the fruit stand you are talking about I will see the next time im there.  We are working on a project on VLA rd along the River.

The Whitevale Museum is always a hit! I was there earlier this summer.  I will get some pics for you guys one of these days. 

Sorry I do not know Kevin, is he still building?

I have been looking for a while for a pick up and have not been sucessful around here.  last year i was in SASK and saw quite a bit there.  still want to go back with some time and money.

Where are you know Crazy?
