I don't recognize that carburetor as being one that came originally on Beaumonts.

A bit of history.

my first car was a 1967 beaumont buy this as the sum of $ 130,000 ($ 21.66 USD) which leave it in a workshop for restoration, this in Santiago for work after I moved to Temuco. I lost the car. Beaumont is the orange that appears in the list of Beaumont de Chile.

The target figure at this point in the pictures they permute by a motorcycle. A black Kawasaki Eliminator 250 type chopper. valued at $ 800,000 ($ 1,330 usd)

once in my power I could not transfer to my name as the previous owner was killed because of this it apart.

little more than 1 month to buy a forum member acadianbeaumont.cl a car which was under restoration. which will be who holds the base for my project.

Deputy sent more pictures and a link to youtube to see.

Greetings from Chile

Cesar Loncon

Cesar, first of all welcome to our Pontiac car loving site. I hope you enjoy your experience here. I have no doubt you will learn a lot from a lot of real Pontiac car loving people. Cesar my main question to you is. How did so many beaumonts,  end up in Chile. How did you happen to own so many of a car that i would assume is very rare in Chile. I noticed the cowl tag in your native language on your car. What does this tag actually say. Was your car not built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, like i always assumed all Pontiac Beaumonts were built. Cesar please shed some light on the questions that i am sure many other members here are curious about. Cheers. George.

Welcome aboard Cesar!

Long Stroke: I believe the dies etc were shipped to South America after 1969 production in Oshawa and they were built there until 1971(?)

Welcome to CP...great looking car! Hope you enjoy the site :)

Beaumonts were also made in a factory in Arica, Chile for the local market, and the Canadian-made cars were sold in Puerto Rico for a time.

Long stroke: Chile unfortunately the car is not valued as applicable, are reference values. Several threads have read several Chilean users.

I do not have the financial means to restore from 0 my car but this passion for a car "built in Chile"

The story goes that these cars were brought from Canada in boxes unarmed
as the value increased with the original parts. to reach a lower value no longer a unique car for the time incorporating national manufacturing accessories such as hood and fiberglass trunks, batteries and alternators. and in the last year of manufacture 1971, I return to the installation of accessories that would not be original stock.

68sd: the letters "GTA" is meaningless because by not making any Canadian model came with that name. by what we have learned here in chie it is more likely to be given this name aya to incorporate fiber items

g: great
t: tourism
a: lightweight (Italy)

Cesar greetings.

You've got that right Carl ... when you don't have access to parts, improvise!
