1968 Parisienne 427 for sale, finally have photos!

Chris 68 027.jpg1 of 17 1968 Parsienne 427/390hp cars for sale. Photos finally available. Price is $10800. It will be going on eBay, but I will give any member of this board the courtesy to make an offer and will cancel the eBay auction when somebody buys this rare Pontiac from this site.

I have dozens of photos. I will upload what I can. Email me any question.
Please remember. The underneath of this car needs new sheetmetal and frame repair or replacement. It is still a running, driving, car with a rebuilt 427 (less than 200 miles on it).

It is a two-owner car and is verified from GM of Canada.

I do not want to sell it, but can't restore it to the quality it deserves.

Interesting that's for sure. Can't see this car in this condition getting north of $10,000. Classic colour too.

I hope this is the car someone has been waiting for. It would be a shame if it didn't get restored.

VERY cool car ! Seems reasonable for what it is.
Any chance you can post a close up of the 427V8 fender emblem ??

I'd be afraid to put this one up on a hoist. That frame looks pretty bad. The car should be saved though. It looks really good on the topside!

Man this is a tough call, really where in the heck would you start.  Car is rare no doubt, but said and done with paid price of seller, shipping etc.  Then restore, you would be into this car for large dollars, safe to say low thirty thousand or high fourty thousand.  But yes it should be bought and saved.., even if it was not restored.  But I feel bought at the fraction of the asking price.

Finally someone who agrees with me  clap.gif The asking price is about what a very nice one could get.

Rare. But with this one it appears it's just nothing more than a $10,000 cowl tag and driveline. See the tailpanel and rockers? Ouch. $3000 more out of your savings for a better body and chassis. There's usually a good supply of good 68' FB's in Canada!

I agree... I like the car...It's the price that I think is a little high!! But that's just my opinion and I've been known to be wrong before!!

Has anyone thought about how hard on fuel this beast would be? LOL. It's definately worthy of restoral but not even close to  cost recovery anytime soon.

You'd be doing it out of love for the car, not for any financial gain.

I haven't heard that one in a long time. Many people have forgotten that is a valid reason for tackling a project such as this. Still, you are going to be upside down into this car to do it right. I hope someone will see this car through a restoration. Just grab a solid Chevy frame (Chevy made a million big cars annually at that time so a donor shouldn't be too hard to find).

I agree with Ray on the colour. 1968 was a huge year for green, with many varieties available on any car line.

I got it.....thanks for the brutal reminder of my stupidity. disbelief

About 20 years ago I found a green 68 4dr 427, 390hp TH400 in a barn that had been parked since 1974 because it had a broken rocker arm.  Being a kid, I stole the motor for my 67 Beaumont and scrapped the 68. What a dumb move....

I don't think were are trashing His car, just saying how we feel about price and restoration.  It is a rare piece, but it is worth only so much in current state or even if restored.
