Gran Turismo 5
I know a lot on here are gonna complain about this one. But this game is pretty amazing!! Once I heard there were old classics in there, as well as the Challenger SRT8. I bought it for the PS3 last week. Great graphics!! Buy a ps3 and get this game! Graphics are awesome, unfortunetly they didn't master the sound of the V8 roaring on the classics though. biggrin






(Maybe I shouldn't have posted this pic, as Carl is gonna make a crack that he can play with the real thingbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin)

My son and I were giving it a whirl at the Best Buy tonight. Pretty Bad A$$ game. I'm no good at these new controllers, give me my N64 or Game Cube and I'm good as gold! biggrin

I only have an xbox 360 so i only play forza motorsport 3  they have a decent amount  of classic cars and the engine sound is only off a little like a dodge charger with 1000 horse quieter then a Nissan s13 with 210 horse funny how things work

I bought it 3 weeks ago my son and I are at level 14 already...It' is awesome!! there is a 62 Buick factory 500 horse It just kicks a$$..and the Nascar mode is really realistic...and very difficult..Having lots of fun

i bought it becuase i thought i'd be able to smash up some sweet cars but after buying and playing it you have to almost beat the game to get the realistic crash action.

I am also playing.....I prefer to call it "using the simulator".  I am at level 18, just unlocked a Bugatti Veyron. I had to stop using the 650hp 64 GTO, once I tried the Bugatti. 1200hp and it can drift corners and brakes excellent!

YAK- if you want crash action Go and get Paradise City for ps3! Great for that!

Dang, you guys are higher than me! I got the 62 Buick to 799HP though.

Ray, how about NES and Super Nintendo?! I still have some games for the original nintendo. Good memories.

Funny, I've been eyeing up this game for a while. I've been playing GT4 on the PS2 since it came out and now I'm itching to try this new one. You guys are going to put me over the edge with all the talk about it. Maybe santa will like me this year????

The race games are great. Probably the only non-race game I know how to play is hockey. Grand Turismo in the past has been more like a simulator than a game. If you can pass all the challenges and the licences, you will have learned a thing or two about driving smoothly and carrying speed through corners. In the winter months, this is how I get my driving fix since the real ones are parked.

There are two Gran Turismo 5 out there, one is called 'prologue' the other is called 'the real driving simulator'. Dont buy the prologue! The simulator has everything in the prologue plus a ton more.
