Nice looking Acadian. Wow, major reconstructive surgery. Glad it's together again for you.

Awesome job, how long did the reconstruction take you? Did you paint it yourself?

Beautiful. It looks very well done. Obviously a hell of a lot happened between pic 2 & 3!

Fantastic job, congratulations! My aunt had a 67 just like this back in the late 70's. Red, black bucket seat, 283 2spd car. I missed out buying it for $500.00 in 1984...it the was the first of many that slipped through my fingers. That said, thanks for the pics, they brought back great memories. I will try to scan a pic I have of hers. Cheers, Whitey

Thanks for the comments, obviously I am very happy with with end result . The rebuild took us 1 year almost to the day. All the mechanical was done by myself and a buddy who was building a 66 acadian invader prostreet (purple and silver car in pics) at the same time so we helped each other out. The body work went way above my skill level so I had that done by a pro.

It would be nice to see some pictures of the '66 Acadian Invader pro street car if it isn't too much trouble.Thanx. The '67 looks great.

I was able to finally find and scan a pic of my aunts 67...not a great pic of it but good enough to bring back some great memories. Again, to think I let this pass me by for $500.00...stupid, stupid, stupid me.
