Well ,I finally found a place to talk Canadian Pontiac. I'm a member of the Pontiac Oakand club intertionnal since 1990, and never tried to get answers on  differents topics because of the big differences between Canadian Pontiac and the U.S Pontiac.
Pontiac are around me since I was little. My father owned a 63 4 doors strato chief, after that, he owned another 4 door strato chief,a 68.  When I was teenager, he gave me that one ,and   I've changed the inline 6 cylinder orange for a  blue 400 pc from a 1971 2 door Parisienne.(not an easy task at that time) . The position of the engine pan gave me some headaches. But we made it . I'll paint the engine orange . I've got a lot  of fun with that car. After several winters ,on  our salty roads, the rust got the best of that 68 startochief. I ve bought  one another 4 doors stratochief and a 4 doors parisienne for parts.  I was thinking restoring my teenage ride's, but that would be too difficult at that time. In 1990 a bought a 68 parisienne sport coupe, that I've completely rebuilt with a very small budget. Each year, I put a little money to improve this beauty, and I will need  your precious knowlege in some cases. ( are you still awake ?) I've almost finished.
Here she is with some other pictures .
you will excused my little english my first language is French.

Welcome Roger from the other side of the country in B.C. Dont't worry about your english, it is my first language and I butcher it up worse than that. My youngest daughter is out your way in Montreal trying to become smarter, it wasn't happening out here. Hope you enjoy the site.

Welcome from one 68 Parisienne owner to another. Nice car! I also built mine on a budget a little at a time. Your 4 door looks like my parts car before it was stripped.
Minus the hood scoop though which actually doesn't look that wonky. But only on
your car not mine.

ref the 68 StatoChief scoop

JC

I had no choice, the engine was so high, that I cant closed the hood. So I made a hole
to let a part of the air cleaner pass. That hood scoop was perfect to mask my Doctor Frankenstein work. I was young, adventurer ,with no  experience....
