Looks like I gotta sell The Vibe!

Since 2003, this little car has turned out to be the handiest vehicle hauling everything from empty bottles, ladders, plants, snow-shoes, even Christmas trees. Now it's time to say goodbye. More hauling duties will be picked up by the Daytona truck.
It's being replaced by a Cadillac. Yep, as mentioned in an earlier thread, a 2006 CTS. It's in the driveway now.

So the facts and figures on "The Vibrator" are as follows:
-175,000 kms. I'm the original owner.
-basemodel includng ABS delete. Alloy wheels the only option (not shown, but included with Goodyear Assurance All Season 16" tires)
-K and N air filter element included for an extra pony or two
-Nexon grips w/steel wheels.
-Factory A/C, CD/FM/AM stereo, 100 watt 110 volt in-dash inverter.
-Numerous in floor moveable hooks for tieing down purposes. Comes with two factory cargo straps.
-Roof rack.
-5 speed stick.
-Block heater.
-Road lamps.
-No accidents.
-All original, all maintenance documented in the owner's manual. Front brake pads, anti freeze changed within the last year.
-Engine oil changed faithfully @ 5000 kms. 5w30.

It does need a windshield due to Deerfoot Trail and all the rocks it sheads. I'm asking $5500.00. It's located in Calgary Alberta.

It's 90% Toyota, and I usually buy any replacement parts like rear wiper blades and special bulbs thru Canyon Creek Toyota. I usually lie and tell them it's a Matrix. You usually get better attitude.......

I can tell you this car is going to be missed. When I bought it in the spring of 2003, I didn't know it was a Toyota. The sales guy never made mention of it. I never thought this car would be as handy as turned to be. It's been to the Oregon Coast twice, usually on the back highways and handles corners well.

someone's going to great a great little car.

The Vibe is 98% sold......all I need is the cheque!  I used three methods of sales.....Kijiji, a "For Sale Sign", and word of mouth. Looks like the last method wins. I sold it to my Boss! And a little less than what I wanted to. There's a lot of used vehicles out there, and there's a lot of tire kickers too. Now I know why some people just send cars to the auction and try to get what they can for it.
It's a gusty move to sell to your Boss, but he must know something everyone else looking for used car doesn't know.........biggrin

Sounds like a great car. What i'm looking for, except i'm in Ontario, and it has to be an automatic so my wife can drive it. Congrats on the sale!

As the sun sets on the Pontiac Vibe line, why not go out and find yourself a really nice Matrix? That's what I'd shop for if I was to do it all over. Vibe's are great, but parts supply was poor from GM when new, I don't want to find out what it's like now.
Happy car shopping!

Our Matrix was a great car. We'd still have it if Connie didn't get the convertible bug. We used it as a hauler as well. Even a snowblower fit! They are nicer than the latest gen of Matrix/Vibe in my opinion.
Mine lasted less than a week on Kijiji.
