Carl, can your Mom run a snowblower? rofl.gif

Sorry buddy, I couldn't resist. I hope we can get together for some kind of visit when you're down...

A visit would be nice   I planned on a visit in may, but  80 year old mother is in a panic..

We have been on phone with her for hours...    She wants us to drop everything, and go there, and pack up 60 years of stuff  and ram it in a trailer and go..

Shes on the phone with wife "now" crying that I mentioned spending 2000 to move 500 worth of furniture...  I spent 2 hours this morning telling her I was bringing everything...

Now she claims I was tossing all her furniture to Sally Ann (I would if she was dead)

I am planning on leaving her car and going back for it in May (Driving 1200 miles is too much for Barb with her sore back...)

Then I can visit...  I want to see the head of the PEI Cdn Poncho  and the Dudes in fredericton

I am going to buy a 6x12-14 enclosed trailer there and pull it home  with Sunfire

Thank you Ken...   thats a nice description of it... Not a bondo buggy, just a nice solid old car  It really looks straight in pictures...
When you are "up" here on Lake Huron, that would be a "southern car "  lol

I was thinking that would be a nice car, for me to detail, and cruise around in, or bless another car guy buy selling them a good car...
--------------------------------------

but as usual another Family phone call, and we are off, trying to put out another fire..

Looks Like I have to travel to New brunswick a couple of times to move my Mother..

When I was in my late Thirties, I couldn't wait for the girls to leave, so we
(Barb and I) could have a "life together"
Then the oldest "came home" and I was a husband, and father to her, and the children (for 16 years)(Forties gone),
Then came the Fifties, and I dreamn't of retirement and time for ourselves, then we took on two handicapped boys to fill the nest, and then the oldest daughter re-married and I retired and thought we were all set!!
and now the Sixties, and my 80 year old mother wants to live with us forever   I think I'm going to run away...

Carl I think it has its share of bondo and the floors have been patched but it has good eye ball or curb apppeal. Assembled its one of those $7500 cars but in this economy who knows ? Wanna take it on trade in ?

That is what I was thinking "out loud" about!  Until  I got the call to go to NB  and spend money I didn't "want to" spend   So I can't take it on a trade...  I have to buy a enclosed trailer cry and a lot of fuel and motel rooms and a air line ticket etc etc

If you mean me aww.gif, you are welcome, also let me know if I can meet you in N.B. and lend a hand. The only time I'm tied up in May is 20th. - 24th. ... I'm in Montreal.

If you keep it up, I'm going to buy it, just to spite these big car lovers  lol

Will you take trades?   I have 3 Toyo pedals cars  (red, yellow, blue) for 600.00  and a Gretzky rookie card lol

You guys are freaking me out with the red convertible thread - I've been rivetted to it trying to figure out why this car has not sold.  Is this an example of what we can expect from now on or just a market dip?

I see Karl's logic on the old guy thing - the last time I was at a swap meet I was easily the youngest guy there at 46 and seemed like I was the only buyer.

Maybe what this car needs is the set of hideaways that are bolted to my 68 Parisienne convertible parts car!?

the market is dead and there is no money but a bigger factor is its me often people think the appraier or knowledable guy is getting the most its worth I've often seen worse cars for double the money-weather is here ill be driving it cause I can't even buy them for this much

Ken Ken     what are we going to do?

The car is too cheap!!!!  maybe  re-advertise it at 6500.00?

Heat brings buyers

If we keep going in the help Jonathan project

MAYBE WE should buy "him the whole dam thing"   ?????

I posted it on kijiji today at CP pricing----it is simply amazing that in the three months I've had it here that nobody has stepped up to the plate-except for Mark nobody has even come to see it ! I had Canada's Worst driver TV show interested when I first picked it up and everyone was crinching---------its no wonder old rusty stuff gets scrapped-this one looks great-runs/drives/only requires minimal interior assembly and the side glass put in-the car is priced right-I've seen worse for double the money

$4000 cash as is complete    I'll throw in the RST appraisal required to tranfer the title or an insurance appraisal to get classic insurance on it---this car is a no brainer- I'd be calling if I seen it posted !!
