Gibbons is just north of Edmonton.  And it looks like a Parisienne to me, not sure if they made a Grande Parisienne convertible.

I see the hood to nose gap is about the same as my car.

Now if I could find a body like that down here for a good price, I could restart my project.
Car looks to be in pretty decent shape. I'd love to look underneath.

But you could install the GP/Bonneville grille and the fender skirts & it would look like a GP.

No news to you Todd, but that rotten nose is why I got $300 4 years ago for my last one. I  swear they shrink (for sure the usa made ones anyway), and still no decent repop available. But has interest in the 69 really come up in the last few years? I'd have to say no... not at all...except for the Canadian Poncho's of course!

The '69 is still the best looking in my opinion, a look just perfect, coming at the transition point between the two decades. Hints of new, with a look to the past...just like all the Cp's and USA Ponchos had back then. But suddenly the '70 Pontiac's seemed to really begin a more modern look heading into the 70's and beyond. Progress, yes.

No doubt, barring any serious frame issues, a decent rag for someone wanting to get in to the sport.

Cheers. MC

Wish I could find a spare now. Mine is in good condition - but it's so exposed I worry it could get damaged & need replacement some day.
