That's a great car, no doubt. Now we need an expert to weigh in here especially on a 1969 but I think this is an Impala SS with a 427 and Not an SS427. Of course I've been wrong before. smile

1969 Chevrolet did build Impala SS427, (RPO Z24) in models 16437,16447 & 16467.  RPO # L36, engine codes LA, LH (3-4S) LC, LI (TH).  The last year for Impala SS was 1968 and SS427 for the Impala in 1969.  Production numbers for the 1969 SS427 were 2,455, but I am sure not lots or many real ones left.

Ah...Thanks carnut70ls4, So it is a SS427. Seems like a shadow of the previous model years though.

Good eye Dave,

I can't see it either.

Will have to try and see this thing first hand sometime soon.

I find those 8" rallyes a little tooooo wide.

Still like the Sport Coupe body style more than more formal Custom Coupe.

That blue one in the $50,000 thread really rocks.

Yellow is not my favorite color but it looks better on some cars than others; for me it doesn't work as well on the 69 Impala, though this looks like a great car.

Well Todd, time to put the 427 between the fenders! This is a ringer for your Poncho. Looks the same to me.

We're getting closer to that every day (even if it is a few millimeters at a time!)
