66 Canso SD louvers

Do the front fender louvers on a 66 Canso SD face backwards or forwards?

I am thinking backwards but can someone confirm please?

Anyone?

This is my friend's car and he is adding louvers. He is hoping to figure it out today.

Thanks

The indented side goes towards the back, so rounded off side to the front.

So just like pretty much all the other Canadian Pontiac louvers then Chris, right?

None of them "scoop" the air, all of them deflect it rather.
