Ha, ha. I didn't read the ad, I just went along with the posting, thinking it was for sale.
Good idea putting an ad on looking for information etc.

If you happen to find out anything from someone about De luxe Automobile Lte'e in Sherbrooke, please let me know.
Don't ever sell your car, unless to me.wink

yeah i posted this add to find info on the dealer where my grand-father bought the car new, the dealer was in Trois-Rivieres, my home town and this is where i currently live, but the dealer is long gone
i am trying to find an NOS original dealer decals in case i ever restore my car
unfortunately this dealer didn't use a cast iron decal that i could rechrome, it was a stick on decal
the decal is still there in good shape, but i would love to find a NOS one

and for you all wondering , there is not a price in the world that would buy this car, this car has been in my family since new, my grand-father bought it in 1964 and died a month later

Max, I'm looking into getting 1 or 2 stickers made at a sign shop from my old sticker below. I'll let you how I make out.

From what I've heard & you can correct me if wrong, the French spoken in Que. is different than France??? I remember Trudeau going to France way back when & the president of France then, DeGaulle, couldn't understand what he was saying!! I think Que. french is a "slang" of Europe's French?????

yeah you are kind of right Peter
the accent is completely different, but the written language is the same
just like canadian/american english and british english
but some of the slang is different
