If you're in the market for a car, why wouldn't you spend 7k for a classic?

Of all the Mopars, the 67-69 Coronets are my favorite, followed by the 63-64 Dodge & Plymouth 2 dr post, followed by the 68-74 Charger. If I ever go Mopar I'll start with a 69 Super Bee.

These little Acadians aren't Pontiac's any way cause Junk Yard Dog says so.nono

I had a 69 Coronet when I was about 19. Original Alpine White with black interior. The car was from Tyler Texas. It was an AC car. Funny, there was a switch under the dash to kill all the lights except the headlights. confuse.gif

I really wanted to make a Super Bee clone out of it. The build sheet was actually for a Super Bee. Some poor fella likely has a Bee and wonders why his build sheet says Coronet 440!

The whole Chevrolet engine line up kicked Mopar but and were more reliable-not to mention the looks and quality of the build of the bodies !

I think it's safe to say GM had the highest quality car of the 1960's and 70's.

Personally I would prefer the Dodges. If you were to make a deal be sure to check the vin's ,go over those cars so there are no surprises later on. Are your Mustang's # matching cars or are they about par with what your looking at ? You know you can always sell the Mustang's and buy another Poncho.

Ya my mustangs are # matching cars..the 67 has a/c and the mach1 has no rust to speak of..what i want to do was get the dodge's , and trade for a gto..which would be easyer to trade than with a ford product..in essence i m trying to work my way up..selling is out of the question..at this stage i find trading is better..no cash..money is not that easy to hang onto these days(wife/kids/bills) if i sell the wifey would cabbage most of it anyway. I talked to the guy for about 6mnths now it was either to cold or he was in camp..he lives in dodge country north east of edmonchuck, and they nevr really had ford upthere in the ol days..and his father wants a 67 mustang..he has more mopars than u can shake a stick at and he said quite frankly they were sick of them...thanks for your opinion..i was kinda leaning that way.

I heard of this guy, he lives east of Edmonton on #16. Story I heard was that he was bringing all these Mopars up from the US. I guess he has everything, even superbee's. I'm actually going right past his place this week, picking up some parts east of there. If you want I can look at cars for you...
