re the yellow 70 convertible, is it for sale?

That model was availiable a couple years ago, Clint.  You should be able to get one on Flea-bay.  I gave one to Wes, you've probably seen it, he displays it at the cars shows with his car.

I got a couple of these wagon kits, I always thought would be a good kit to convert to a Beaumont wagon. Making that grill would be the hardest part I think.

Yes it was TONNES of work.

I know the guy that owns that Cheetah and yes I think he would be proud of that job. Very nice.

You would need to find someone who had an original grille, a laser scanner and a 3D printer. The grill would get scanned by the laser and then "resized" to 1/25 scale and "printed" on the 3D printer. It's amazing what people are producing with these machines!

They had a segment on Car Crazy that showed a 3-D printed adjustable wrench in plastic that actually functioned. Amazing!

NEAT!  You could pretty much scan anything and make it.

your local hobby shop can order the conversion kit for you. the parts are all photo etched. they look very realistic. they cost about the same price as a kit though.

From 1978 until 1982 i was able to collect a number of original dealer promo models of the following Pontiacs. 1960 Convertable (had two), 1961 Convertable, 1962 Hardtop and Convertable, 1964 Hardtop and Convertable. They were all American Bonneville models. I got all these dealer promo models for very cheap back then. I then did one of the most stupid things i have ever done in my life. I sold them all to a collector for not much more than what i paid for them. At the time my whole world revolved around Chevrolet. To this day i continue to cry over letting those Pontiac promos go. They easily get over $150.00 each today but cash value aside. I really miss having those Pontiac promos in my collection. They would have looked real sweet next to all my Chevy kits. Live and learn. Cheers. George. I forgot to mention that i sold the promos in 1984.

Fixed now Shawn, I flipped it back on it's wheels!

For some reason, the first time I edited it (with the picture I saved right side up) it also posted upside down. Strange...

I remember my dad taking me to Sinclair Pontiac in London when I was about 5 years old. There was a display case in the showroom filled with 1/25 scale promo models. I wanted one bad. I asked if I could have one. The salesman gave me a 1/64 die cast Vauxhall Viva instead furious

I blew the pics up Dave, we all needed to see them close up!

I wondered what you did all winter with no car in the garage.

You could make a living building and selling those things I bet.
