HELLO FROM GOOD OLD ENGLAND!

Hi Guys,
I have just found this forum on the H.A.M.B. and thought I would join up.

I am living in the South of England,(Hampshire) and  60's Ponchos are a bit thin on the ground around here,( loads of old Chevys and Fords though).

I have a 1962 Canadian Pontiac Laurention Safari and have had it for quite a few years now. I often need parts and find it fairly difficult to track them down. I am hoping that now at least, I will be able to find out what parts fit my wagon.

My old wagon is a keeper and I want to keep it running and driving nice. The next few things on the agenda are some engine work,(it has a 261 six),a new carb/manifolds set-up and some interior repairs.

looking forward to hours of reading! I might even post a thing or two

Cheers,

Swerve

Welcome aboard. Both of our sponsors would be a great place to start your search for parts. Be sure to post more photos of your wagon!

Welcome to the site from Windsor Ontario. Great looking car. I hope we can help you with any questions you may have or parts you may need. I have a brother in-law
(Ken Purdie) who lives in southern England. In Plymouth actually. He had his own sports equip. store for years and sold it, and now is obssessed with photographie.

Greetings and "Howdy Partner" from Calgarywink!   Among the blessings we have from the U.K. are H.P. Sauce, the Vauxhall Viva, and Fawty Towers reruns, but just to the south east of us (two and a half hour drive) we have the British Army Training Unit (BATU) Suffield. This facility not only is a semi-arrid training ground for the British Army but also adds to the economy here across The Pond. Thank-Yew!
Very nice car you have, what with the 261 inline 6 and all, I recommend checking out the web site  www.cliffordperformance.net  for all your inline 6 power upgrade needs.

Enjoy yourself while visiting here!
