According to the brochure in the Library

there was a 327-275

and there are no "call outs" on the out side

Just a V8 emblem

I have these V-8 327 emblems that look like the pontiac 350 ones and I thought they were 68 Acadian. They are the ones in the picture. What are these for  and what do the 68 V-8 Acadian emblems really look like?

I have a number of those emblems too, 307, 327, 396. They come in two colours background, red and black. I always thought black were Acadian and Beaumount, Red for Pontiac. I thought this style with the CID embeded in the emblem were for 1968.

THOSE ARE THE SAME STYLE AS MY 427 EMBLEMS ON MY '68 GP. I THOUGHT THEY WERE USED ON ACADIANS AS WELL, BUT CAN'T ACTUALLY REMEMBER SEEING ANY ON AN ACADIAN, BUT THEN, I'M NOT SURE I'VE SEEN TOO MANY '68 ACADIANS!

Since the Acadians were built in the US starting in 68, I think the emblems are slightly different. My 70 emblems are quite a bit different than the ones I have seen on the Canadian Pontiacs.

On second look, not that much different, just with the CID on top.
