I must have had my head in the sand. I had no idea the new Impala would be rear drive and based on the same platform as the Camaro.

I thought the new Impala/ Caprice was based on the Holden platform (Pontiac G8)?

It looks too much like the new Camaro to me.  I thought that GM was trying to get away from this "copy cat" look on their new cars.   The new Challenger doesn't look like the Charger,  right?

I remember seeing a car similar to that in a Hot Rod magazine when I was a kid. Pretty sure
it was custom made. Thought it was ugly then and still do.
