Hello Gentlemen I am the owner of this Impala and I knew the discussion would hit this message board and I enjoy hearing everyones opinion. If anyone wants more info on the car you know where to find me. What I can tell you the car has had lot's of work done trunk pan, replaced, quarters replaced, new convert top installed, bodywork completed and the car is a complete roller and is not in a million pieces. Bodywork is not up to my standards and therefore would require some time to make 100%. The suggestion of the parts cars gives the impression the car is a complete mess which is far from the truth. If you have ever restored one of these cars just the rocker chrome alone is $1000 to $2000 and thats why I bought the SS 396 parts car and the 4 door just happened to come in the package. Really the convertible does not need any of the parts from the extra cars to complete the project. This car is very complete with NOS Trim and Repo Trim the list would blow you away. Two sets of ralley wheels 15x7 and 15x6, 4 speed console, 4 core rad, rad spacer, Muncie tranny, drive shaft, hurst shifter and factory shifter, re chromed bumpers in packges from house of silver, optional disc brake set up, and yes the AM-FM radio is there. I guess what I am saying you don't have to hunt down the hard to find hardware to complete. I am honestly into the car for $20000 complete with the totally rebuilt 427-390 HP engine. There is a similar totally restored Z24 red convert for sale right now in Mapleridge, BC for $69,000. My Impala is worth more than $25,000 parted out so I am asking a fair price if I throw the engine into the equation. It is always difficult to derrive a starting asking price after all you don't just want to give away a car like this away but from experience cash talks. If the garage door is not still snowed in I will post photos. Thank You Jeff
