I used to have a homemade sign on the front window of my appartment in Toronto (I lived in a rough neighbourhood) that read, "GUARD DOG ON DUTY 6 DAYS A WEEK ... YOU PICK THE 6 DAYS!"

His horseshoe is upside down ... all the luck has run out!
