A friend came from a family that racked up a lot of miles on their cars but kept them in great shape. They had a 72 Parisienne coupe like that one, light green metallic though. It had Rally IIs and dual sport mirrors, plus a Chevy 350 under the hood. He sold it out west in Vancouver back in 1983 I think. The car looked great for 120,000 miles, but it had rolled twice and had 220,000 miles. The family also had a clean 1975 Astre that still was going strong at 140,000 miles (unheard of!)

 

Yesterday I saw a convertible version of that car, but I guess it must have been a Catalina. It was red with a white top & Rally IIs as well.

 That car is local to the East End of Toronto Cam, also saw a 1968 Toronado yesterday. I've seen it for a couple of weeks at rush hour too, I hope it stayed in today.

You need to be out west to see these cars on the road. A few years ago when I was in Calgary I saw a 73 Parisienne 2 dr ht parked downtown outside the Salvation Army shelter as I recall.
