A friend of mine had a father who was firstly in the RAF then the RCAF in the 1960s. Dad was then stationed in Arizona: perhaps an exchange deal or did the RCAF do training in the desert? They took with them their Pontiac...when a hose burst the garage could not find one to fit. It took a Chevy one!
