I went out and took a pretty close look at this unit last night.  The seller is a nice fella, younger, "wants something different".  He has owned it for two years and has done some recent work on the unit including brakes and installed a "new" headliner.

He has all new weather stripping for the doors and windows...unsure about trunk weatherstripping.  The chrome on this unit is in very nice shape.  There is a couple of pieces not installed, but he does claim to have those pieces.  Glass is flawless.

Interior seats 8 out of 10.  Interior floor carpet 6 out of 10.  Headliner:  3 out of 10 (maybe just a bad install job?)

I did not see any cracks in the dash, but there has been an aftermarket stereo cut into the dash right under the heater controls.  Looks lik sh**.

Door hardware is partially complete.  Vinyl armrests on door are there but need repair.  There was a door handle and window crank in the glove box.  All windows roll down and up smoothly.

Someone installed a chrome shifter with a T pull.  Does not suit the car.

The truck floor and the interior floor pans seems to be suprisingly solid.  There is no carpet or vinyl on the carpet floor.  No spare.  No jack.  Trunk lid spring is not installed, but it is there.

Overall, the body is in very decent shape, as best I can tell.  There is rust showing up on the drivers and passenger rocker (funny the "flushing" system designed into the 67 Beaumonts did not stop the rust!) on the innner lower threshold towards the hinges.  There is paint bubbling near the roof on the drivers A pillar by the chrome trim and also on the passenger rear pillar closer to the fender, also by the chrome.  There is also some rust with perforation showing from the inside on each of the fenders.  I could not tell if there was significant bondo as my magnet was too weak for even the clean sheet metal.   Doors were nice and solid and swung open and closed smoothly.  One thing that was a bit unsettling about the body was where the driver's door met the A pillar and front fender, there seemed to be a large-ish uneven gap.  Paint looks not too bad but needs a refresh...showing lots of oxidation and discolouring.

The engine compartment revealed a nice orange v-8 with edelbrock everything.  The only thing that looks original on the engine was the block.  The car does has power steering and power brakes (forgot to check for disc or drum).  Looks like a new alternator.  Radiator appears to be original.  Headers with twin exhaust.  The small block fired up easily and ran smoothly.

Tires are newer BFG on rally wheels which are in nice shape.

I took the unit for a quick spin.  Engine ran nicely, power steering and brakes worked well.  Suspension a bit "floaty".  Tranny was tough to engage and find proper gears.  With the tranny engage, the owner claimed the exhaust pipes were  rattling on the under carriage of the car.  Very annoying.  Certainly hope that is all it was.  The engine seemed to pull the car along very nicely...too bad it was only on a dusty gravel road!

On a side note, I did get the protecto plate info and there was the original owner information on the warranty registration booklet in the glove box.  VIN and F.C.O. number listed.  Not sure what I am allowed to post up in the forums as it is not my car.  Lots of photos to show as well.
