I have a friend here in Kelowna that has a 70 that has a lot of work that has been done to but it still needs more to be perfect. I can pm you some more info if you like. It has some history to it to as I think there were 3 of them built with consecutive serial numbers for a race in Edmonton in 1970.

There was at least one '70 LS5 Chevelle ragtops built for one of the 1970 Edmonton CanAm races..
White w/ red guts I believe, one car exists today and was advertised for big bucks last I remember?.
It's on the registry somewhere here on this site, I think may've been incorrectly noted as a Hardtop?.

Yes, this lady does have a big budget, and we should be able to find something good for her.. It is just a matter of where to look and getting something that is worth what the person is asking as well as not having to go across the country to look at it. We wont buy sight unseen for a client, and have looked at a few that were portrayed to be really good, but when you actually looked at them, they were rusty, panels replaced etc.. for that kind of money she should be able to get something pretty much mint, needing just a colour change if that...

So if anyone knows about one.. sometimes the best ones are not advertised

There should be a few nice 68's or 69's in the price range and the colour that your client wants. If that is what they prefer I would concentrate on those years.

If you do find something that is not in your area it may be possible to have one of the members here check it out and maybe get some better pictures, etc.
