You have my envy, Kelly.  As another poster said, it's done right! I can relate to "that smell" that characterized these cars and their materials.

I also want to congratulate you on your perseverance on bringing it back. thumbsup.gif

GREAT JOB KELLY, it takes a long while for a restoration but the end results is what counts.

Kelly - you are to be commended for the work, time and money you put into the car.
But when it comes out this well you've got to feel right good about it.
Well done!

Gorgeous. Great choice for feature car. (And I like the black dual snorkle air cleaner assembly!)

Ditto, also the OEM hose clamps.

Beauty, Kelly!

Hey Jerry.  the console is painted on top.  I tossed the idea around about leaving it, or polishing it.. then with the help of members here I decided to go with the "stock" look and have it painted, with the chrome highlights.

I think it turned out pretty good.

Oh it looks great as does the whole car!!!

You say stock look, does that mean they were painted on top?

I think so jerry. with all the consoles I have in the garage.. they all seem to have black paint within the grooves or fins..
