 All Original never restored and RARE collectible automobile. Sat for many years and therefore needs rust and mechanical repair. Car has buckets and consol ( black interior) 6 cylinder, powerglide auto trans. This car needs a TOTAL restoration and is NOT in running condition but is truly worth any effort as  it is one of only a few hundred produced.I have all the trim items. Yes, I'm afraid I did. I had a wonderful offer from a fellow CP'er who knew my predicament (can't get out right now due to the flood). He went to look at it and make the deal for me and someone else was leaving a deposit when he rang the doorbell...

well you just have to look past the rot and mold to see what a nice car that would be. HUGE resto project.Looks like the cabin this summer instead of rust removal!I dont think that car will float!

Haha, I wasn't even sure what I would have done with it but I knew it was an opportunity I had to grab.

It may not even be restorable, not sure, but it's worth that in parts.

Crap! Those are the ones you like too. Call him tomorow just to make sure the fellow can get the money. If I found a complete 65 SD with all it's trim intact I would of bought it sight unseen. I'm not trying to rub it in. I'm actually sorry for you.

A friend of mine was one of the first ones to look at it. Turned it down for 2K. Floors and trunk floor are shot. The shackles were in the trunk as in rusted through the floor.... it sat out in a field for 15 years... heavy mouse action and the trim is pitted.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

It's worth it in parts though. Interior with the buckets, console, shifter etc $1,000, SD upper belt trim, bumpers, emblems etc for another $1,000.

Don't forget the VIN and tags on e-bay for $1000... HA
I turned down a 67 Black/Red guts SD in similar condition about six years ago for $800. Just too much work and I didn't want to be the "responsible" party for parting it out.
Apparently the body is ready to go now but the project has stalled.... likely due to funding.

It's in the St Andrews area now but has been painted turquoise. I've been told it's just sitting now.
Back then I was thinking of buying it to restore.... until I opened the trunk and saw the shackles up in there.

I think that is the car I had in my driveway-yes no? I sold it to the guy wanted to restore it-very cool little car,but needed everything-nice original color combo
