ive seen this car, its at a hot rod shop just outside st.thomas on #3. Its in rough shape but its all there. I was going to sell some trim to him. Lost Time Choppers I believe its called, they do nice work, and I believe that was a customers car, geuss he dident go thru with the build.

Im on another website called pontiac-59.com and there is not too many of us on there. Ive only seen three in my life and thats mine, the one for sale here, and one i took parts off that was a part of her landscaping, it was a foot down in the ground!!

Years ago I had a Macleans magazine from 1970 that featured new cars. There was a junkyard shot with a pile 5 cars high of 1959-60 Chevies & Pontiacs including 2-door posts. They were scrapping these things generations ago

thats why Im really fighting with myself on what to do with the car. I have a place to store it (outdoors though) from august when i leave for mexico to december when i come back for my brothers wedding. I figure in that time span I will decide if its worth keeping (if i will use it enough down there) and drive it back down to mexico with me, or sell it. Tough call, but all I want right now is to get it on the road!!LOL

Could this be a 1 of none!!!! 1st Bonniville with a inline 6cyl. & powerglide, no widetrack & a 2dr. post!!!! What a rare beast. All kidding aside these are getting hard to find, but would likely become a money pit in short order once you get into the unseen things!!!!

I have to wonder why the lister hasn't seen the word LAURENTIAN on the side of the car yet. It seems to me that if you advertised properly you will attract the correct audience of buyers. It is a neat old Pontiac with a limited market to start with.

This model year is actually out there if you dig abit-I wouldnt be scared off by lack of parts availability. Alberta kijiji has this identical car listed, as well as a 4 door hardtop (my favorite)-half a dozen or so pop up every year on kijiji. Building a 59 American Pontiac was a bit more of a challenge this past year.
