Nice looking ride! The custom kick panels with the speakers are very well done. Much nicer than holes in the doors.

Awesome. Perfect combination of class and muscle. Once your 'midlife' thingy is over, you could always sell it to me!......kiddin

Thanx-these were a great find. Got them from a guy in Windsor-I know u can buy them on line for almost any make and model of classic car.Sooo much niceer than butchering the door panels plus I can still use my air vents. 150 watts per so not a bad sound.

I've been thinking about getting a set of those kick panel speakers for a while.  (Somewhat limited options having a rag top.)   Would you recommend them?

Hi in a heartbeat! One of the best things I think they came out with . They come in black so u paint them to the colour you want,They have 100 or 150 watt-really u only have to slide them in and its done-no trimming etc. The sound in really good and I like the fact I still have my air vents.I think they were either 200.00 or 225.00 for the pair so there a reasonable price too.

Thanks Deb. I've seen them in a couple of the US catalogues. Next time I'm down there I'll pick a set up. (Did you also change your dash speaker to a double speaker unit?)...

No I left the origianl in there-not hooked up same with the am radio-left it all in. I can take the set up my mechanic put in and swith if I want the am and speaker to work. Right now I have a Sony Explode system-6 pak disc changer with a 600w amp in the trunk.

Sony explode 6x9 speakers in the back deck and the remote hide away deck in the glove box. This guys son did the stereo for me but installed the deck in the glove box with a slide out bracket so the glove box isnt damaged. Did a super nice job.

I do want to get better speakers for the rear deck but again I dont want to punch holes for them so its kinda muffled a bit of the sound-but no big deal I'd rather hear my car-nice sound with the headers!

Sounds like a great audio set up, for a great car! Thanks for the feedback.
