Spark Plugs!

Hello everyone, I was wondering what type of plugs I should be using in my '64 283, the ones that came out of it are a mix of Motorcraft, motomaster, and bosch. The ones I got from my local Canadian Tire are Champion RJ12YC.

The champion plugs don't even have 30 km on them and 3 have fouled up so bad I had to put some of the old ones back in.

I will be ordering AC Delcos I was just wondering what ones exactly I need, I cross referenced the Champions and came up with ACDelco R43S is this the plug? I have found other sites that say ACDelco 45, I checked with my parts guy and there are an abundance of the R43S plugs I just want to make sure I know what ones exactly before I commit to buying another set.

Thanks in advance

I'm running AC Delco R45 (they don't foul up). If I was running it regularly, R44. If I was running it hard, R43.

go with the R45S

45's are a bit hotter running, the S is extended tip which also helps prevent fouling.
