67' Beaumont " Cheetah"
4 spd car
No motor or trans in car, I have a 428 Pontiac block or a 468 chev block you decide. If you go with 428 it's set up with a racing auto trans, if you pick the 468 it's set up for the 4 spd manual I have over 50k into this ride.. As for the car having the Chretah badges with all options including power windows and chrome steering column and shaft with power brakes and posi diff oh yea factory tint on all windows. This car was originally pale yellow with the cat paw prints running down it, so make an offer, as I might change my mind again and not sell

Holy crap! I've read about the cat paw prints but never saw one. Anyone have photos of a Cheetah with these decals?

That's the first I have heard about the paw prints. I emailed this fellow before lst time it was for sale and he didn't respond to why he thought it was a Cheetah or any way of proving it was one. I asked him all the cheetah questions with no response. There's no mention of it being a conroy car either. I hope it is but he needs to clear up some questions.

I didn't think the Cheetah had the "paw prints". I thought it was another dealer- themed car that had them.

I'm sure I read about the paw prints in an old Musclecar Review and I'm sure it was the Cheetah. This was back in the late 80's.

I was in touch with the owner last time it was advertised. No supporting documents 73817 car someone told him they came with 427's. I think he quoted 25k so might be worth it anyway

called tonight.. talked to him for about 6 minutes.
says the car came from conroy, was factory "pukey yellow" with paw prints across the hood and down the back of the car.. but the car was black when he got it.
any rust was replaced with steel and the paint color is now a "gun metal" silver.
said something about the steering column being chrome as well.. said it was a dealer installed option. Also has pwr tinted windows, Posi (unsure, but thought 3.73 gears), has 427 emblems...
said he's had about 100 calls in the last week, so doesnt expect it to stick around by the weekend.. but.. if it is he suggested that he would call me and let me take a look and photograph and document it for posting here. I told him it was of no interest to me, but that there are several people in the club that could be.

Hopefully it sells for him.. sounded pretty sincere, and has a ton of other projects to finish.

The paw print description sounds exactly like what I read years ago in Musclecar review- being placed on the hood and back of the car.
I'm going to have to dig and see if I can find that issue.

That supposed real Cheetah picture that's been floating around also posted here a few times was a yellow car..
Is this one a black hat car too?.

The GM Vintage package from George could help confirm the Conroy lineage but unless something more substantial can be found to support the Cheetah thing, it's just another Conroy delivered Beaumont..

Looking at the car or GM paperwork, check factory options as Conroy sometimes ordered cars destined to be Cheetahs w/ shoulder belts etc..
Ask for loose parts too as again Cheetahs were sometimes equipped w/ specific aftermarket parts, bellhousing etc..

Best o' luck to whoever can view the car!.

I emailed him about the GM docs also. He doesn't have them but I suggested that he order them to help his cause. Sounds pretty cool. As I know proving that it's a Cheetah car is tuff. I had the emblem holes on the front fender, a original Cheetah Talbot mirror still mounted on the car with GM docs that it came Conroy with Cheetah options, and there's still non believers. There is others who verfied it's existance so I'm not complaining. One of one 65 SD Beaumont Cheetah so far. It's a up hill battle for this fellow but I hope it's the real thing.
