Hi Guys

It's been about 7 months since I've last been on the forum..., and did I miss you guys!!

I've until recently been unemployed for about 19 months, and everything just came to head at the beginning of this year...... after trying to run a household with no income for such a long time..

Creditors knocking on door, cellphone & internet got cancelled, etc, etc, etc. It's really been a tough time for me since losing my job in July 2009...

Through the Lord's grace, my life is starting to look up again.. I've found employment & can now feed my family again.... and have even managed to get my internet contract re-instated.... hence me being able to chat again.

Just to introduce myself to members who joined after me. My name is Craig and i reside in Cape Town, South Africa. I am the proud owner (or at least my 3yr old son is) of a 1965 Parisienne 4dr HT. Have done some work on the car last year, but paused for a while due to finances.......

Yep, but due to unemployment I sold 5 cars in 2009 - 2010. My 1964 Impala, 1962 Bel Air, 2 x El Camino Utes & 57 Apache pick up. All gone... My Parisienne is the sole survivor as she has been promised to Caleb, my boy.

I do, however, have my eye on a 68 Caprice abandoned project for myself. Chatted to the owner to indicate my interest..., but that project has to wait until my family's financial situation is totally recovered (could be another 6 months of damage control).

But, ja... Hi to everyone that knows me.., and a warm Capetonian welcome to all new members.
