Hi, such a great site, i bought a 1963 Beaumont Acadian convertable a couple of weeks ago, first Pontiac I've ever owned. It's in very good shape for it's age (5 out of 10). last owners bought it for thier daughter who owned it for twenty-five years 16yrs. to 41yrs.old, came from the Classic Car Museum in Victoria according to them, I'm going to check the title through ICBC to see if it's true, good story if it is. Glad I found this site.

You will enjoy that car for sure. There's nothing like a country cruize in a red rag with the top down. It puts a smile on my face every day! The fact that it is a Canadian Pontiac makes it even better.

Hi Paul, I think we talked at the Qualicum show last year, I was telling you about what I though was a 64 acadian convertable on an old Dr.s property turns out it's a 63 acadian convertable. I was looking at some old posts and (back in aug.2011) I recognised your car from qualicum and your bio. here. I've sent a pic of mine and what I think might be yours if it's not maybe we can meet at Qualicum next year. Good to know another classic Poncho owner on the Island.

Vern, you said "hey" back in aug. but thanks again. I thought I might have met Paul back in June at a Fathers day show in Qualicum beach and just now thought I may have recoginised his red convertable and saw that he's also from the Island so thought I'd just check.

 Yes that's my car and I remember you. The car looks great. It wasn't what you thought it was but it's still a beauty. Now you know where to contact me if you need to. I'm in Duncan and next year we can meet up in Qualicum if you like. You might see my new 65  Blue sd Rag. It's coming along nice. Paul.

greeting from another fellow 63 Beaumont owner. when i first got mine i didn't believe my brother in law when he said they had a 63 beaumont up at the farm that looked like a chevy II, i didn't know they existed. with the advent of the internet and great sites like this, they are coming out of the wood work. i used to cruise through brentwood bay back in the late 80's with my 55 gmc.
