Thats a rare beauty indeed. I doubt it would bring $85,000 but i bet it would cost almost that much to restore one!

Loose the fender "skirt",fuzzy dice, chrome headlights, stupid doll & you've got an AWESOME car!

Evertime I see one of those "crybaby dolls" leaning up against a car at a show.I want to knock it over.

OK. I have to join in on this rant. I never brought it up before because I didn't want to sound negative but what's up with the stuffed animals / dolls / dice / goofy trinkets on some of these cars? I just dont get it at all. The other thing I don't understand is the obsession with Beach Boy's and 50's music at car shows. I am 38 years old and I can't stand it.....It's the #1 motivating factor for me to leave a show early...OK I feel better and I will never bring it up againbiggrin

Cruise nights have ruined any appreciation I had for 50's music.

Whenever I hear 50's music, I wish they would turn it up (about 20 years would be a good starting point!)

It seems that EVERY age group has it's OWN musical era as those were the tunes that they best remember the cars by.

The old guys that have the "perfect" fifties & early 60's cruisers really like that horrible music from that era.

Sad to say, they won't be with us for much longer,so just take earplugs & try for a field goal for EVERY crybaby doll.

... but I do like rockabilly, hillbilly, psychobilly music. Just not not your melba toast, watered-down, top forty 50's "rock & roll".

hahahahaha I love how they call it a Cabriolet.  Nice car if the new buyer takes off the fender skirts and drives over them and throws them away then the car would be mint.
