1967 bumper guards

I am considering buying a set of 4 bumper guards for my car. Has anyone here bought a reproduction set? Are you happy with the quality?

Hi Steve, I personally haven't bought a set, but have sold ORIGINAL sets to people who had either bought repos or spoke to people who had bought them and were not impressed. I'm not a reproduction fan of many products, i hear it from one customer or another every passing day on how they've purchased a bumper or a fender or a molding and it just doesn't fit or the quality was inferior. Don't get me wrong, there are products that are nicely repoped, such as interior componets, seat upholstery, door panels, carpeting etc, that I buy and recommend, but I think it boils down the let the buyer beware and do just as your doing...ask around! Also should add that we don't sell any repoped product unless asked to bring it in.

I sold a set of originals a few years back @ $700 because the guy claimed the repo ones he bought didn't fit. They stopped making them and are now back to it

Priceless addition to any car though

Thanks for the feed back guys. I have looked at other sites for info and I can find very little about these. It seems the first ones didn't fit well but they have been redone at some point. I have found some good feedback on the repop 66's but no info on the 67's I am going to phone Ausley's tomorrow and get some info...

I agree seeing they stopped and started again the second ones are likely better. They ll look great on your car

To bad about the good report on the 66 ones as I have a set of original 66 ones hoping for value someday
