Never mind that, I want that car to restore. That car is cool...
No phone number?

I JUST TALKED TO HIM. I MADE AN OFFER. I THOUGHT HE HAD ACCEPTED IT, THEN HE SAID HE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT A WEEK OR SO. (I ASSUME HE WANTS TO SEE IF HE GETS A BETTER OFFER) THE CAR IS NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING BUT HE SAID HE MAY TRY AND GET IT RUNNING. IT WAS BOUGHT BUY HIS UNCLE, THEN SOLD TO HIS FATHER WITH 4000 MILES ON IT. NO POSI! IT APPEARS TO MY EYE IN THE PICTURES THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN PAINTED. HE WASN'T SURE IF IT HAD.
So what are the chances its the same as the 61 Impala 4 door with the 409 that's really a 348? This car maybe a 396? I see it has a 3 speed auto, TH400 or TH 350?.
Would be another good VIN to run past George. A 427 in a 4 door like that has to be few and far between. In fact any body who offers should get the quick fax option done with George. Let's face it the only real appeal on that car is the big block.
WOW it is so incredible some of the sweet Canadian cars that still exist out there like this one. A friend of mine has a Canadian 1966 Pontiac four door sedan with a factory 396, fully documented. They are out there and it is good that the Canadian Poncho brotherhood is posting these great finds for all of us to enjoy. It is just sad that sometimes the negatives come out about these cars being four doors. Just enjoy the rarity of these beautiful Canadian Pontiacs or what ever else it may be. I would own a four door with a rare big block over any two door with a run of the mill motor anyday. To all the brotherhood out there please continue posting these great finds. Cheers. George.

I just reviewed my 1966 sales brochure and the Jet Flame 427 is listed in two configurations, either 390 HP or 425 HP both came with dual exhausts one with 10.25:1 compression and the other with 11.0:1.
Neat car, great colors and options. Would be neat to see a GM doc on this one. Wonder if you can still make out the aircleaner decal. The block stamp would tell a lot too.
Looks like it's been sitting in the dampness for a while ... rusty and pitted interior pieces.

I hope someone on this site gets it. I would if it was nearby - but of course there's very little chance of anything rare surviving in a maritime climate.
