1966 or 1967 Q-Jet Air Cleaner Base

This is a nice original QuadraJet air cleaner base for 1966 and 1967 Chevs or Canadian Pontiacs - either small or big block (325 HP 396) cars. Note, there's no crankcase vent opening or thermal control on the snorkel. The part number is 6423266. It's in good original condition and still has the AC part number sticker on it.
I bought it because it was advertised as being off a '68 but searching on the part number gave me this application.
 
If anyone has the right '68 base for an L48 with manual transmission please let me know. I only need the base but will buy the whole thing if necessary. The manual trans doesn't have the thermal control in the snorkel and it points left (driver's side) on the '68.

Yup, according to the book it's for a 67 325hp 396.  Also mentions a chrome lid.  (No real mention of it being for the 66 or for small blocks though...?)

same base for both '66 & '67...327 / 275 HP had a painted lid and the 396 lid was chrome

325 horse 396 lid on Canadian Pontiacs was painted Black.  No chrome goodies at all on those. Mind you mine was early production (nov 65)
