There's something fishy about this ad. Those photos are not from Grand Marais, we have a cabin there, and that car is not there. I've been up and down every road there and there's only 1 paved road and that's not it. Haven't seen that car there in all the years we've been there, and the dog and I have been up and down all the streets and back lanes.
The background definitely not Grand Marais, although maybe just reprints from when he bought it on e-bay? Can't see enough of any plates in the background to say for sure they are Manitoba plates. If it is in Grand Marais it's in a garage and doesn't see the light of day.
Yup... this car has been around this area for sale for at least 2 years now. Current owner bought it on eBay (when the Cdn $ was not in is favour) , from the Ohio area. The previous owner to that , bought it on eBay from Montana and just flipped it.
I've never seen the car , but did talk to the seller last year. At the time , I believe he said it is in the Carman area . The ad says Grand Beach area , but I think the same seller is just using a postal code for a cottage lot up there that he is also trying to sell.
Looks to be dry ( good Montana life)....and in good shape. May take very little to make it a daily cruiser.
$13,900 seems high for this project , considering the 69 Pontiac BB 2+2 in Sask has not sold for the 7,500 asking price. Just awhile ago there was a #'s 69 Impala SS427 L72 M21 complete project car that did not sell at the asking price of $10K .
