problem solved, the suppler said the vibration isolator would not allow the ground to pass through it so i put a small jumper between the 2 allen keys that hold it to the column. and now i have a ground in the wheel !!
so if you are going to do this conversion make sure youi jump it before installing !!
much easier.

not yet, i want to make a proper juumper with closed loops, i just wanted to make sure it worked put the column all back together and horn now works great.. thinking of painting my wheel red and white like a nova i saw think two tone steering wheels were an option but more then likely light and dark red.
