I used to have one of those "B" bodies. 1969 Caprice 350/300, turbo 350, 12 bolt posi. Nice comfy ride. The "A" bodies are great too. I find mine very comfy. My '81 Z/28 had the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in.

Thanks! It was a beautiful B.C. car. Never saw snow. Body was mint.

(I was getting tired of my "Dr. Evil" avatar, hence the change.....This was from the Woodward Dream Cruise several years ago).

I find my Esprit one of the most comfortable older cars I've owned. It has the cushy bucket seats though and extra "Esprit" sound deadener.

WOW Todd not only comfy seats but also FOUR SPEED and (are you ready for it) 8 TRACK STEREO PLAYER. That just blows my mind seeing that 8 Track Player and that 4 Speed side by side. I like it a lot, very very nice. Todd she looks like a real sweet ride. My best friend Peter bought a 1979 Trans Am new and he still has it with just over 38,000 miles on it. All original in every way except for the usual wear items but here is the kicker, it still rides on the original tires it came with from the factory (Norwood, Ohio, U.S.A.) You know the white raised lettered Poly Glass tires. I keep telling him to change the tires before he goes into a highway barrier. Maybe i can get him to post some pics of his sweet ride on here. I love your ride Todd. Cheers. George.

My '81 Z was pretty much loaded. tilt, no cruise, windows, locks, am/fm/cassette, ribbon interior, "T" roofs, aluminum wheels, etc..350, T-10 4 speed and 3:08 posi. Your Bird looks really comfortable inside. The Ponchos always had nicer interiors, though. I just could never get comfy in the drivers seat of mine. My Lemans is way better for comfort. The strato buckets are great.
Pretty rare to find the "8 track" still intact. My '69 Caprice came with an under dash 4 speaker 8 track player. It was long gone when I got it. Too bad....I saw one at a swap for $800!!!.

I've been tempted to find an original AM radio with the input for the 8 track however I do like the sound of that vintage Alpine unit. There's a Kenwood 6 pack CD changer in the trunk.

Well he surely will be missed. I camped with him two years in a row at the "Pinks" event at Cayuga and he's a great guy.

Just thought I would mention that we have one of those factory 1970-73 Firebird-Camaro console mount 8 track ass'ys in really nice condition. If anyone would like to add that option to their car, p.m. me and I can send off some pictures if you like. Cheerio Dave....the    =<]:^)
