morning all.grew up in vancouver across the street from jim pattison dealership.i remember in 1970 grabbing the tigertails as a kid from the trunk lids of gto's in the outside lot. hahahha.best car i saw at dealership was 69 original transam rag top in late 70s. guy was there getting parts.they had a neat showroom with a car sticking out from the glass like it smashed out of the showroom..as a teenager i s use to go to tere showroom and grab the sales brochures hahaha.knew a lot of the mechanics working there.one had as he was original owner a 69 blue gtx he drove everyday.also he had 70 torino cobrajet cream colored.i could had bought the torino back in teh eaarly 80s for 400 bucks.i wish i had.i grew up on mopars,had 70 charger r/t se.sold it in the late 80s.i now have trans am 80 pace car.i would love to get myself a 71-73 gto.i know 73 is the ugly year but hey its different eh.still have some cars that became projects over the years.i know im lazy hahaha.lost of stories of cars groing up in vancouver.could had bought 69 daytona sitting blocks away from me in early 80s for 2500.70 hemi charger for 3 gs couple blocks from me.still there is lots of rare stuffed tucked away in garages.they all cost money though.best car i remember at jim pattison dealership for sale was 76 buick pace car with the wild decals along the side.oh wow if i can go back in time eh....cheers
