The glass interchanges from an American GP.

I have not tried but I am sure the grills and park lamps fit also, as well as the tail panel with those beautiful tail lights.

I have not tried bumpers. I know the brackets are wrong for sure because the frame is completely different.

The interior pattern is unique to our cars. The basic seat frames I believe are the same as Impala and also the American GP.

Our dash may look the same but behind the scenes it is wired completely different. However, I would believe a number of switches etc interchange. I know the radio fits them all.

Which reminds me, I have asked on here if the 65-66 steering column for full size Canadian Pontiac interchanges with the American GP but have never had a solid answer. I have a US tilt that I want to install in my car. I may just have to try it.

So I was looking at the GP compared to the GP, and this is what I can see from the outside:

Grand Parisienne

Bumper brackets are definitely different (about halfway betwene center and end on the Parisienne, a bit further out on the Prix). The rest looks quite similar...

Anyone know where I can get a nice set of those turn signal housings?

And just for the record, I think you will have to be known as Carl4.

I am dubbed Carl 1, since I joined all of about 12 hours before 427 Carl! He is Carl 2.

67Rag396 (his name is Rick but it seems to me he said his middle name is Carl) is Carl 3.

So if you are ok with Carl 4, this will work fine!

And for the record, all the Carls to date are B body (full size) Pontiac enthusiasts, so you fit the name perfectly! All of us own or have owned a 66-67 B body very recently.

And the rest of the guys here? They're all just Carl wannabee's...

 Yes, that sure proves the bumper won't fit unless a guy welds up holes, makes new ones, rechromes it. Too much hassle to try.

This 66 US GP (only picture I have of it) is in a wrecking yard in the US about 3 hours from me. I am dreaming of a trip there in the next 2 weeks since we have almost no snow yet.  It may have the lights, I can't recall

The car is quite complete but has been sitting outside forever. Lots of pieces though.

I just went to get a small pile of parts from the guy who owned the car. Apparently there's more that he has to dig out, he insists that he has all the trim and emblems - but these are the emblems I got today (along with a pile of trim and the fender skirts):

The old owner mentioned something about having a T4 (or T400, I forget exactly what he said) tranny that he might be persuaded to sell - the car currently has the 454 bolted to the standard transmission that came with the 283. Would this be a good move?

 I am 99.44% sure it's the 3-speed - but I'll check for sure when I get it back... How would I know the difference?
