Backspace on my 66 Canso front

Guys,

I have a set of 15x6 rallies on 195/60R15's on the front of my car with 4" backspace. I sometimes clip the front Fender when the car is turning and I hit a bump,etc... very minor clipping.

I've decided to run the the new Team 3 Classic V polished rims with the same 195/60R15 tire.

Question is that I thought maybe I'd adress this little problem as I'm ordering new rims. If I go the same size but change the backspace from 4" to 3.5", will that not move the rim/tire out more creating more of a problem or will that move it in more?  I planned on ordering it with the 4" backspace as it's minor but maybe 3.5" would work out better?

Is the 15x6 with 3.5" backspace 195/60R15 the ideal rim/tire on these cars.
I understand the 15x7 with 4.5"backspace 235/60R15 is ideal for the rear and that's what I'm ordering but I wanted to do this right on the front.

Thanks for thefeedback in advance
