Honestly i think it looks better the way it is. Patina+Age= Cool. Anybody can fix it and paint it but the way
it is adds more cruise night conversation.they all look the same with fresh paint but they don't all age the same.

sexy cars.JPGI love my little 69 with the 250 in it.  Easier to live with than the rat since I drive it everyday in the summer/fall. I just added a few options to make it more liveable.  The best one was the buckets and console.  Way more comfy than the bench.

If I had themoney I'd buy the truck just for the body and part out the rest just to have a spare (but I'm not a hoarder!)

I'm a little "confused" here [ it doesn't take much ] the truck that Ray found, sold in July & had "primer" all on the bed sides & T/gate but the truck that started this thread-[Jan /12] has the "patina" look & no signs of primer, BUT the back bumper, hitch, wheels, ETC look the same. I f it is the same truck then current owner is a FLIPPER & looking to make a quick profit. Truck likely has been sold w/no safety Cert. the 1st. or 2nd. time, anyone notice the fuel line "wrapped" up under the drivers side of cab??? C 20 is a 3/4 ton ??? 8 bolts wheels & H/D suspension!! Still looks like a solid UNIT, but now [if its the same truck] we know what it sold for, I'd offer $100 more than he paid for it

It costs more than $100 to bring a truck from California to Orangeville Pete.

As for the internet my son and I were talking about the evolution of man last night and I said "Is it possible for humans to evolve with technology as part of us?" iIke the internet becomes part of our being, brain and just part of us. It would eliminate School because we would know everything!

It's a truck, the worse it looks the better. That way you don't have to worry when putting a load of gravel in the box.

65camino gets hassled all the time when we are loading up the '65 with wood and drywall at the Home Depot, one guy was so pissed at him he said it was criminal the way he was treating the truck confuse

"Truck  - a motor vehicle designed to transport cargo"

I use the 55 all summer long as a work horse, if i'm doing a dump run i have a peice of vinyl i put in the box if i'm worried about scaring the floor. for wet stuff i have a matching trailer ie dirt/rocks

vinyl is red restaraunt grade flooring

trailer was good template for making my cap

what he paid for it ? Is irrelevant -its worth what one will pay which could be more or less $ than he invested - believe in capitalism my friend

In fact I did want to become a Police Officier however when I graduated in the 70's there was still a height requirement and eye test. At over 6' I was ok but without glasses I can't see two feet in front of my nose so I was disqualified. At least we both got the sunglasses thing down.

As for my car, I said it was worth maybe $3,500 BUT I did not say it was for sale biggrin

It's definitely the same truck, the large scratch marks on the front bumper are all in exactly the same spot.
Ray shoulda been a Detective, perhaps that's where his son gets it from????? confuse
