Yeah its parked right next to the 67 Bonneville ambulance i posted a few months ago, about 2 miles from my place.

Neat machine to look at but the engineering is kind of scary.  I think it was built in the late 40's early 50's using old Lancaster main gear tires.

Thanks to your eagle eyes james i now have another car I don't really need. heh heh

It just kindof intrigued me though and its seems to have worked out OK in term of condition and pieces.

I think this car will share a lot of parts with a lot of Canadian Poncho guy before its done.  I think I will also get it checked by George Zapora just to confrim options and numbers.  I'd like to find out how many in that model got AC.  He was able to do that for my 66 so....  this thing may turn out to be really unusual, or not.

Haven't had a good look at the line from the tank but it had the cable mount addons for a small block and I just can't see anybody ordering AC with a 283 and TH 400. Basically an educated guess at this point

Over 30 years ago I bought a 67 Parisienne 4 door hardtop factory air at an insurance auction. 283, clear glass all around!

Much of the air ended up in my 66 GP.

I just can't recall but I think it was a powerglide car.

I am betting if George can give you A/C numbers you will be shocked how many there is. I bet it's lots compared to 66, my guess is well over 100 cars, maybe as much as 200-300.

That would make sense as the option would have had the chance to get pushed a bit and get known.  I'm just surprised that anybody would have wanted it mounted on a 283.
